Do you know what a house, having had only basics of cleaning and tidying for two years, looks like?
I'm not going to enlighten you. Don't come over.
I had a really rough few days. I vomited for about 12 straight hours. every. 10 minutes retching some more. After the first few hours, I didn't even get out of bed, I just grabbed a pail. After the next several hours, I couldn't even sit up, I just turned my face to the bucket.
In the end it was just bitter, gross, yellow uck. which turned to dry heaving.
Faron cleaned me up and took care of me the whole time. He's a trooper. He's my hero. He came running every time I called him and ran up and down the stairs, endlessly.
I seem to need 3 days to recover from these episodes. One day to rest and recover from the retching, the next day the pain of constant reverse peristalsis is unbelievable. Every single muscle and joint in agony from heaving. The final day to recover from the dizziness and mental warp from not being able to keep my meds down.
Today is day three. I'm a little better.
I honestly don't know when these episodes are going to go away. They certainly are daunting. I'm supposed to be gaining strength here and I keep getting set back.
I see my oncologist again in February, for blood-work and scans and an appointment. Hopefully, afterward, she'll have some news and or direction for me in this process.
Either more treatment or start toward the healing process.
