Spring sprang forward and jumped back

What have we been up to? Happily, there is more to my life than just the shithead with his shenannigans!

Thursday was such a gorgeous day out, I set the little ones out side to paint (folding tables and lawn chairs!) when the big one got home from work, she joined them in painting.

My beautiful artists!

Jaala wears the helmet to protect her head from flying paint ;p

Grammy took the little ones shopping for shoes, they ended up with two pairs each. Her excuse is "one doesn't get unlimited grandchildren to love on". Thank you so much Grammy, we LOVE the shoes and had to be forced to remove them at bed time, we're even wearing them in the house all day!

Lei's wearing a size 11 Jaala wearing a size 3.
Speaking of Grammy, she brought Auntie Gwen for a visit yesterday! It was so good to see you Auntie. We love you A LOT! Jaala said "I saw her with Grammy at the door, and my eyes said I knew her but my head said she was a stranger, then I remembered her, but not her name" !!!!!
Leisha said "me too, I know she is Brady's mom though".
AWWWW!
Big Bad B-Rad!
Leisha said "when people see this one, they will think 'huh, Leisha grew taller than J?' and then they will see she is holding me"
In other Grammy news..... she made a quilt for Lei, and it is a HUGE hit! Thank you so much for your hard work on the quilt, the kitties and the colors are beautiful and Lei love love love's the quilt. She's probably knocked over everything in the living room at least once, whilst dragging it around on her shoulders!
And here are the booger-butts cuddling in their "grammy blankets"
Did you notice the tattoos on the faces? Dani gave them to the girls and put them on, how cute!!!!
We decided Mama needed a tattoo as well. I've often thought I would get a large tattoo on the back of my neck, so that's where Danielle put it.....I won't be getting a "real" one there, I have such HEEBIE JEEBIES about being touched there that I shivered violently through the whole process, Jaala came to hold my hand and said "it doesn't hurt mom, don't worry" to which I explained, that I knew it didn't hurt, but that Danielle was touching my private part and it made me shiver........poor Faron, he has to live with me. :D
The witchdoctors predicted a sunny warm weekend. We made plans to fly kites and scooter to the park. However, we awoke to snowfall. Instead of flying kites, we are flying snow. March, in like a lamb, out like a lion! (or something equally ridiculous!)
