First, a huge congratulations to my long time friend Sue, her and her husband Will just welcomed their baby boy into the world on friday! A big healthy beautiful little man! I'm so happy for you guys!

Well, last night was an adventure.
Kyle finally decided to 'plan' to visit his daughters on his schedualed wednesday access. He's back from his honeymoon now, and so he's ready for everything to be his way again.
Both the girls and I let him know that he was welcome to have his visit with the girls, but he would have to do it in Drayton Valley, as the girls were there having a special holiday with Grammy and Papa.
He was reminded three days in advance, and then everyday leading up to wednesday. He told the girls that they HAD to be in Red Deer for his visit. Jaala responded "DAD! We're at grandma's!" to which he said "let me talk to Leisha". *huh?*
As the plans went, Faron and I picked Danielle, his now 18 year old daughter, *gasp!!!* and then returned to Red Deer Wednesday after noon, leaving the girls in the wonderful hands of Grammy, Papa, Auntie Erin and Mickey.
Dani, Faron and I were just sitting around visiting at my place when the door buzzer sounded.......
I said "who is it"
IT WAS KYLE!!!!
I was completely floored, he'd been told 3 times that the girls wouldn't be here, true he did order and demand that they be here, but he was duelly informed that he was more than welcome to go pick them up for a visit from Grammy's house.
I replied "are you STUPID?"
No response, so I went up the stairs to see where he had gone.
About an hour later, I recieved a call from the Red Deer City RCMP. Yep, you guessed it folks.
Instead of using his time to go to Drayton Valley and see his girls, Kyle instead came to Red Deer and went to the police.
The officer, a very kind lady, explained that Kyle had complained he was being denied access and that it was her job to contact me and inform me of the complaint.
I thanked her and explained that he wasn't denied access, but that he chose to come and cause trouble rather than visit his girls, that he created these dramatics to try and bully me and that I wouldn't be bullied.
She expressed again that she was wanting to give me a heads up and I thanked her. Then she said that since we are in the middle of a custody battle, it would be best if I stuck to the interim order like glue. At which point I explained a very brief history of Kyle's love of cherry picking which parts of the order he wants to follow, and then filing police reports on me when I throw up my hands and just do what is best for the girls inspite of his game playing.
It was a very calm and peaceful conversation. She was merely doing her job of "keeping the peace" and I was remaining peaceful and explaining the actual situation to her and showing her that Kyle was just a shit disturber, that he could have been with his girls, but he decided to check and see if I'd obey him, instead.

It goes back to what my family and friends have said for a very long time. Kyle doesn't actually want the girls for himself, he just doesn't want me to have them. In his mind that makes me "the winner" in this battle he chose to create.
Sorry Kyle, you picked the wrong woman to bully. You can play as many dirty games as you want, but I will always play it straight and I will always do the right thing for my girls, and because you choose not to, you have made yourself the loser. You are losing out on knowing the wonderful girls Jaala and Leishabeth are growing into. And you will lose them completely based on your own choices, if you don't stop now and just be a responsible parent.......and that is what makes you the biggest LOSER of all.
