Unfortunately yes.
Leisha worked up the courage and practiced what she would say all week, before she asked her dad last night to come to her fathers day event at school. Now it's an evening event, a father daughter soccer game followed by a picnic. Kyle came to Jaala's last year, now granted, he brought his girlfriend and her kids, but he showed up, and Leisha remembers that. When she asked him she said "don't bring Jan and the boys, it's for kinders and dad and there might not be enough ice cream for extra's".
Well, he said no. He has other plans, dancing class or something and he's not changing his plans. I spoke to him and told him that responsible fathers make their plans based on priorities, and his little girl's school event is much bigger in the grand scheme of things, than his tippy tapping.
If she saw him all the time, if we were in a different situation, it might not be that big of a deal. But given circumstances......Lei is horribly hurt.
In other news, why why why do I have to get zits?
