Today, the snow arrived. We were ready!! I've been an Alberta Mama for long enough to know to start prepping in mid September, for the arrival of the first snow fall.
It is NO fun waking up to snow before school and having to have a mad dash to find suitable outdoor clothing which isn't covered in spiderwebs and dust from storage, nor too small nor too worn out.
Boots were purchased last month, coats and snow pants were gathered prior to the boots shopping trip, hats and socks and mittens have been crocheted. Oh crap, Lei is wearing her hat today and I didn't snap a pic of it previously NVM.
