Family Court tomorrow at 10 am.

No job yet for Faron, he is now applying for "temp" work. Whatever pays the bills I say.

Mom Halliday isn't doing well. She's very weak. I'm going over tomorrow night to shave her head, her hair is falling out and this will just be easier to wear her wig etc.

I earned an A on my final practicum evaluation.
Only 2 more weeks till I leave for a new school. I will be so very heartbroken to leave my little hearts. I would love to continue and see them to the end of the year, I will always wonder how it turned out, ya know?

I'll be doing my second practicum at Gateway Christian School.......
I know what you're thinking.....
but I truly CAN keep my opinions to myself for 6 hours. The children's parents want them to be indoctrinated, that's why they've been sent to Gateway. They want them taught from the bible, and even though in my mind, it teaches intolerance and discrimination and creates hostility and rejection behaviors, this is how that school operates.
With my own children, I am free to insert a balanced approach, with the students, I will not be able to. That's all. *shrug* I can do it. Respect for all beliefs and religions is part of my mantra....but some beliefs go against basic human rights, those are the ones that I struggle with. Not that I don't completely accept their desire to believe such things as their own free choice, I struggle with why someone would choose a life that eliminates so many portions of the populations of the world as unacceptable in they way they are.
