What the Fresh Hell is this???

Yep, still sick, still have a sick house hold. My house and my family are PESTIFEROUS!

Leisha tells me she was sick all weekend at her dad's, and she woke up this morning vomitting mucous. Literally, vomitting crud out of her throat. All over Jaala's favorite blankie that **her one and only Grammy MADE for her..... and how would YOU feel if someone barfed on your blanket**.....(oh believe me child, YOU have!). What's more, MOM used JAALA'S bucket for LEI'S barf! Oh horror of horrors, someone has laid their phlanges on Princess Jaala's bucket! Really, you're going with that kid? I have a bed full of barf, the little one is retching again, and I grabbed the nearest thing to me, dumped it's contents and shoved it under the barf.....

So after Jaala was appeased, dressed, combed fed and ready, I dumped her at school with a note for Lei's teacher (I hope it got there, she was visiting with her best friend when I left, so I have my fingers crossed).
Then took Lei to the doctor. Poor bum has no voice, as sore throat and a wicked cough. ....kinda the same thing I have. Diagnosis....sinus infection and strep throat.
RX......antibiotic, motrin and rest
Prognosis.....good.

I also heard from Jaala that her dad made Jaala take gross cough medicine (i don't know who prescribed it, cause it wasn't me) that made it hard for her to breathe. Apparently Jaala said she didn't want or need it, and dad said "I'm the parent, I make these choices, not you."
Hmmmm would be a fairly good idea if the father had more than a passing knowledge of ANYTHING!
Jaala is asthmatic, certain cough meds are not to be used because they suppress the breathing in an asthmatic, I sure hope her father didn't force feed her one of those kinds, cause that would just top the list of his "too stupid to live" menu.

It's supposed to be reading break, but I'm working this week to make up for hours I missed when the weather broke my jeep.
No break.

I slept in my computer chair last night. It was the only way I could NOT cough, for long enough periods to catch a few zzzzz's
I have a sinus infection, which causes the cough, which causes the sore throat.
Geeeeez, Feb, and Mar are notoriously bad months in nmy family's health!

Great news, Danielle got a job last week, working at Cinzeo in the mall. Unfortunately, we love her so much that we shared our boogers with her and she spent her first three training days sick.

Note to self : Danielle is a big girl, it is not appropriate to say "how's your boogers honey" to a big girl.
