Monday, monday!

We had a great relaxing and hanging out weekend, and boy was I ready for it! So nice to visit and play with nothing straining our time together.

This is what I found in the office on sunday morning.....









They were just sitting there having a visit. Of course, as soon as the camera showed up, this is what I got.....

For some reason, when the girls and I are driving, they open up a lot. This morning, Jaala mentioned that Joe (their oldest step brother, 16y), had just been kicked out of his dad's house. They had asked why, and said David was about to tell them, but Jan said "don't tell them, it's none of their business".

Which, I can understand, however, that has left them both wondering what makes a dad kick out a kid and if they will get kicked out too.

The only thing I can say is "talk to your dad about that." I really get tired of saying that, as I'm sure they get tired of hearing it.

Leisha didn't want to wear her boots to school today. However, it's cold, and I refuse to be the mother all the teachers talk about...you know, the one that doesn't send the kid to school in proper clothes for the weather...yeah, so I insisted she wear her boots. She fell apart, "But mom, all the kids at school say 'hey those are really little boots' and I don't want to wear them, cause I'M BIG!!!" awwwww! Poor punkin, people comment on how little her hands and feet are, which doesn't sit well with her.


We had a wonderful visit with Faron's mom and dad yesterday. And sharla too, can't forget the hairy little black and white ball of hyperactivity!

Would it shock you to know, that my daughters hyperactivity even exceeds the energy of a little dog!!! Yep, the dog lay down for a rest long before the girls were even out of breath teeheee!

Anne commented "wow, to have that energy!" We agree!



Well, I have class tonight, so it's off to have a very unproductive housework day, I must be diligent in my studies!
