Jaala doesn't know I'm watching her. She's home sick today, she woke up with a head stuffed full of boogers, a throat stuffed full of boogers and almost no voices. Poor thing. She's sitting on the couch watching a movie, I'm in the office and I can just see her. She is staring intently at the tv (which I cannot see), her facial expressions keep changing and she verbally responds to the movie. Right now she has a smile and her eyes are blinking quickly. . Now she is plugging her ears saying "ey yi yi ey" . A giggle, a wide open mouth, her face burried in her hands. My sensitive, expressive angel. She won't watch movies that "affect" her like this when other people are around, she has often said "It's too embarrasing" when the girls are trying to pick a movie to watch. This is why, she doesn't want others to observe her so very responsive reactions to the emotions depicted in the movie. She has her hands on her head and she's saying "oh no, watch out". I love that I get to "spy" on this part of who she is.

Leishabeth FINALLY lost her first tooth. Her grown up tooth to replace it, has been halfway up for a few weeks now, it's HUGE compared to her baby one!!! I don't know how she chewed with it but it's about the size of a "big" toenail clipping. So cute! We were having supper last night, Leisha kept saying "ow" when she bit into her chicken, so she put the chicken down, suddenly she said "oh, I lost my tooth, I felt something on my lip and I thought it was more chicken, so I put my tongue out and my tooth fell onto my tongue."

She cracks me up, she is so precise and detailed about everything! She doesn't just say "down stairs" when she's describing the placement of something, she will give exacting directions to it's location! "My uncle kevin has lots of antlers from hunting, you go down the stairs and straight and then turn this way, the left way and around the corner you'll see them all" teeheee!

We had a fabulous weekend away, just relaxing, enjoying the beautiful fall colors out in the boon docks of alberta, the weather, the wildlife. I stood at mom's front door and watched a Doe and her spring fawn walk to the apple tree and munch on the fallen apples. (they had help falling, from papa, who witnessed the deer taking running leaps at the tree trying to dislodge the high apples, the only ones left on the tree).

Mom's neighbor's Border Collie had 7 pups about 6 weeks ago. They are gorgeous little balls of fur and fat and cuteness! I wanted to stick one in my pocket and take it home!!

And an extra special treat, last night, Brad was on his way home from edmonton and decided to pay us a visit! So nice. We love Brad!!
