My daughter, talking smack!

Yesterday, the girls and I rode our bikes to school, however, it was a rather spur of the moment decision, and I didn't have time to dig out the bike lock. So I just stupidly crossed my fingers that nothing would happen to them.

During the first recess, the Vice principal noticed they were unlocked and moved them into the school. At lunch recess, Jaala noticed her bike, NOT in the rack and panicked. Her teacher got to the bottom of the issue and took Jaala to see where her bike was. On the way there, Jaala was absolutely SEETHING that someone would touch her bike without asking. Her statement "whoever took my bike, they're goin down man!" AHAHAHAHA!!!!

When she got to the front entrance of the school, her bike was indeed there, but there were grade 9 students playing with it. OY! Wrong choice grade 9's, you're GOIN DOWN! Jaala was right pissed off and her teacher instructed the students to get off it and leave it along so that it didn't get broken. The grade 9's however, were seriously impressed with Jaala's bike. They raved about the style of the bike and how awesome it was and even loved the purple air freshener Jaala had hung on it.

That didn't appease Jaala and she took her bike to store in her classroom so no one else could touch it.

When I picked her up from school and got the story from her teacher, Jaala was still in such a state, she was ranting on and on about it.
The girl holds grudges like her father!!!! (kidding, sort of)

  2. Absolutely, she has a natural desire to stand her ground, if I can sort of steer that in a posative direction, with good communication skills, she could be such a power house woman!
