I wanted biscuits to go with homemade soup for supper. Had no butter and no milk. Too tired and nauseated to go to the grocery store for adequate ingredients before supper.
Thus our house experienced Yogurt biscuits for the first time.

sift together
3 cups all purpose flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1.5 teaspoons baking soda
pinch of salt
in a separate bowl whisk
1/2 cup oil
1 1/4 cup plain yogurt
mix together with a spoon until soft dough is formed
knead with hands until uniform dough achieved
smoosh flatish, about one inch thick
cut biscuit shapes
place on greased cookie sheet, bake at 375 F for 14 mins
Mmmmm, for a non savoury meal, try using flavoured yogurt.
