New shirt for Jaala

I think I mentioned once, that I dislike throwing things away, and I'd rather repurpose, upcycle, refashion and make do.
 Here is another case where having a sewing machine really helped in that process.
 It started with a gauzy light lime green tunic shirt of mine...it was thrifted and never got in to my wardrobe. 

 I cut it apart and turned it into this, for Jaala.

I added a row of  embroidery on the neck line to pull it together

the straps used to be the belt of the original tunic the way it is positioned on the hanger, makes it look uneven, but it isn't.
