Observant kid!

I typically wear my hair swept up when I'm at class, several reasons, it eliminates the curtain that falls between the student I'm leaning over, and my eyeballs, I don't get glue in it as easily when it's up, I don't have to worry about it getting caught in the paper cutter etc etc.

When my hair is up, I also usually have a marking pencil, an HB pencil and a black pen, stuck in my hair. Terribly fashion backward, but handy! (I even went to walmart with them still stuck in my hair....got lots of strange looks, then realized....and tried not to be obvious snatching them out!

Today, I wore my hair down. I arrived at class and was unpacking my bag when a little guy came in. He studied me for a minute and said "Well, where are you going to keep your pens today Ms. Kyler?"
