It's monday. Groan. The girls were brought home late last night from Kyles. What else is new. Lord have mercy if I hold him up for 10 minutes, but he is perfectly ok with being 45 mins late. Faron and I finally ate supper without the girls (because I was dying of hunger!). They hadn't eaten yet when they got home at 7:15, so by the time that was over and they were ready for bed, it was late for a school night.
I went down to check on them when I went to bed, Jaala was standing by her dresser smearing her skin cream all over. She said "It's been a long time since I had cream last, and I'm itchy so I'm putting it on." I told her that was fine and asked why she was still awake. She said they slept in the car from Edmonton.
It would be so much easier on them and me if the drop off time was earlier. That way, if they were late, and if they slept in the car, bed time wouldn't be as affected and then monday mornings wouldn't be such a dread.
I asked Kyle for child support last night. Nope, no such luck.
So now I'm scrambling to get enough in the bank to cover rent. Already, the second month in the new place and Kyle is already fucking it up.
Someone PLEASE tell him that he isn't the only person in this world, and that his children deserve better than he gives!
Both girls are very excited about the sport they've chosen to do. I can't give them an answer as to when they'll start, because I have no idea when shit head will help pay, and we certainly don't have the budget to pay for it all.
At the supper table last night. Leisha was very proud of having helped David (step bro) learn *tool sounds*. She is learning to read like a little champion, and is happy to share her knowledge. She was also very alarmed that David is 8 and doesn't know his whole alphabet and didn't know anything about tool sounds. She decided that it's because he's homeschooled and that's why he's 8 and doesn't know what he should know.
And this picture is for Jan and Kyle, one of these days you guys will learn what it is to make a meaningful contribution to the world.

I have class tonight so I'm off to read my last chapter for class.
I agree.
