I'm free. I'm FREEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!
No more teachers no more books!!!!! At least for the summer. Which is a break I have REALLY been looking forward to!
Being successful and seeing tangible accomplishment in this school business has gone a LONG way in helping me erase the things I came to believe about myself during my marriage to Kyle.
A year ago, Faron said "What is stopping you?" in reference to my lamenting that I so wanted to go back to school. He was such a catalyst in the moment and I gathered my courage under me and jumped into the process. Am I ever glad I did. I am one semester away from working in the classroom and I'm excited and pleased.
Tonight is the Father's Day soccer event with Leisha's class. Her father changed his mind about coming, so she's VERY excited about the time with her dad.
He says it's too much for him to drive down two nights in a row, so he's cancelling his regular wednesday visit.....nice. Move to Edmonton, away from your girls, then don't make the effort to maintain the visits and extracurricular activities. *eye roll*
Only 2.5 weeks of school for the girls left, I have lots of great idea's to keep them busy over the summer, I just hope I have the energy to pull it off and not have whining bored girls.
Have a great day!
monica had student teaching this semester and has only next semester (which will be entirely spent in the classroom) before she graduates. so exciting for both of you!
ReplyDeletei am glad that Faron encouraged you to get out there!
