It was so beautiful outside on Saturday! A warm breezy 22 degrees (that's about 72 of the backward american degrees ) Faron and I, along with Brandy and Dean and Shicara, went garage saleing for the morning, we had such luck! Faron bought double bed for me, it's in great shape, much better than my other one (anecdotal evidance available upon request!!). So we set my old double up in the girls room, and took out their bunk beds, there is so much more room in there, and Leishabeth hasn't slept in her own bed for months, so this works great!
After garage saleing, we went to the Farmers Market. Had to have a Nossack smokie while we were there. My anal side was seriously annoyed at the parking for Farmers Market. If I had a super power, I would use it to magically move all the cars that were parked by idiots. Poor Brandy and Dean had to endure my rant about proper parking and dumb asses and why I should be in charge. Faron is used to it and he still signed on to marry me so I don't feel bad for him teeheee!!!!
AND after Farmers Market, we celebrated our nephew Damien's 5th birthday at the park. We had a bbq supper and a great time hanging out with all the wee ones and the crazy ones! Faron played badminton with Damien, it was hilarious to watch.
Silly me didn't wear sun screen, (hey it's may, we just had a snow storm!) now I'm sunburned....very very sunburned. I could blame my sister for helping the girls pick the shirt I was wearing....it shows a bit more chesticles than are usually exposed to the outside world, hence the severity of the burn. OY!
My darling Faron slathered me repeatedly (not as dirty as it sounded!!!) with aloe vera gel. I think peeling will be unavoidable, get ready baby, you're gonna be sleeping with a shedding reptile!!!!
It was a fabulous weekend, I feel refreshed and relaxed and ready to face the week!!
One paper to complete, and one class to attend, so I'm looking forward to having time to be at Jaala and Leishabeth's school field day on tuesday!!! I went last year, when Jaala was in Kindergarten, now I have two little atheletes competeing! Such fun. Jaala is a natural runner and jumper, where as Leishabeth is better at sprinting and throwing, it will be interesting to see which activities they respectively thrive in.
Have a great week all!
Sounds like a lovely weekend!
